The Situation:
A small law firm located in Chicago with 10 employees. They had regular technical issues that began to exceed the knowledge of an onsite accountant with above-average technical know-how. Issues began dragging on and the company owner’s decided they needed a dedicated resource. Unfortunately, when looking into hiring for internal tech support, they found that the costs to hire were well outside the budget they imagined for their minor IT problems.
Luckily, they were referred to TechNoir Solutions regarding out Small Business & Start-Up IT Support program: TechNika.
The Task:
TechNoir needed to provide ongoing technical support to a growing company so their growth was not hindered by IT problems. TechNoir proposed TechNika to give them support while also compiling a knowledge base of recurring problems and creating an inventory of their hardware and software.
The goal was to create an IT department that gave the firm access to expert support when they needed a higher level of service without breaking the bank. A Managed IT company can help SMBs with saving time, resolve ongoing issues. while reducing the need for onsite support staff.
The Plan in Action:
TechNoir installed tools on the firm’s employees’ computers that gave them access to the Helpdesk. Each employee received support once a month without an additional charge. TechNoir also took stock of their IT hardware and software so that if a project came up, we were prepared to assist.
